2026: Bill Lewis – The Hero’s Journey

Bill Lewis is a poet, storyteller and mythographer. He has travelled extensively, giving readings and performances in England, Europe, North America and South America. He has also taught classes in writing, film appreciation, and “Myth, Magic and Spirituality” in adult education centres, schools and prisons.

He has appeared on television in England (BBC and ITV) and at English literary festivals and has read his work on the radio in England, Central America and the United States.

He is a founding member of The Medway Poets group. His poems have been published in various journals, The Year’s Best Fantasy and Horror volumes, and the Green Man and Other Tales from the Mythic Forest.

In addition to his writing, he is also a visual artist, involved with the international Stuckists art movement. Currently, Bill lives in the town of Gillingham, Kent, where he is committed to bringing poetry and art to people from all walks of life.
