Barratt, Sian - All Faiths or None
My final piece is about treating religious people the same as non-religious people. I personally feel that every religion should be treated equally. In this mixed media piece I have infused Muslim woman’s thoughts and beliefs into a water coloured hijab. I was inspired to add text from Grayson Perry as I think it shows what the artwork means very clearly.

My piece is about equality and hope. I have made a canvas with a hole in the middle. On the wall it represents bad things people associate with religion like terrorism and bombing. In the hole it represents hope with a dove. Also there is a multi-cultural face representing different cultures from around the world with a mirror for one of the eyes so when people walk past the art piece they will be a part of it, symbolising everyone is equal.

Fan, Man - All Faiths or None
This piece of work is made out of pencil and colour pencil, you can see that the hand is holding a candle, the candle represents light and hope, the hand is holding it very carefully, I was inspired to create my idea by church congregation. Where Jesus gets supported from his believers, praying and lighting candles in church.
