Bowen is a PhD candidate and XR artist who has received several awards for his animated projects, which have been screened at prominent venues, including the Science Museum in London. He specializes in utilizing VR technology to create animation projects for both non-profit and commercial purposes. He is the Art Director of Tell Me Lemon.
Workshop: Overdesign
Overdesign is a collaborative, participatory VR workshop where participants are invited to create an object based on their cultural background to decorate a virtual room together. The workshop will be a walk-in event, allowing people to join the creation process whenever the machine is available. The final result will be rendered as a 3D model that can be viewed in various forms, such as a video.
