Juhi Rathi holds an MSc in Computer Game Programming from Goldsmiths, University of London. With over 16 years of experience in AR, VR, and XR development, she has worked on building immersive digital experiences for global brands while leading creative teams across industry projects.
Her interests lie in how immersive technologies can move beyond commercial application and become spaces for communication, presence, and shared expression.
Presentation: Would You Start a Conversation?
“Would You Start a Conversation?” is a participatory VR art installation centred around shared communication using an immersive platform. Each participant will enter the virtual space individually and will pick up a conversation left behind by previous participants. Using simple drawing interactions, each person will explore the existing canvas before adding something of their own. The project explores how communication can happen through gestures, responses and accumulation rather than spoken words. Over time, the virtual canvas develops into a collective visual conversation shaped by multiple participants.
