Linda Tucker holds a BA with Honors in Fine Art from Goldsmith’s College of Art in London, and a Masters (Distinction) in Fine Art from UCA Canterbury. She has been the Curriculum Manager for Art and Photography at St.Anselm’s Catholic School in Canterbury for over 30 years.
Linda will be delivering a program entitled “The Wisdom of Crowds” — which will include a presentation and workshop. The program will begin with an explanation of the collaboration between schools under the EKST (East Kent Schools Together) umbrella. Art departments are working together with artist Esther Miles to produce a textile outcome using deckchairs which will be exhibited at the Turner Contemporary in Margate and other places in Kent.
The workshop will be led by Linda and her colleague, Petra Matthews-Crow, using the same concept of “collaboration” to work towards an outcome. This will take the form of a shared sketch book.
