Presentation: Counternarratives, Culture, and Code

How can AI, photography, and poetry become tools for cultural resistance?

Through an exploration of how Black British women are using creative technologies to challenge erasure and reclaim space, and through my lived experience as a neurodivergent artist and PhD researcher.

Using Digital tools to create a portfolio that blends visual storytelling with activism, creating new pathways for memory, identity, and healing. Understanding art as an archive tool and code as culture, I offer a window into the creative future of Black British digital heritage. This talk invites anyone curious about AI, poetry, or intersectional identity to explore how creativity can defy the limits of the mainstream while challenging AI Ethics and resisting Algorithmic Bias.
