Some participants attending KArtsCon may require travel visas and/or supporting documentation in order to secure funding or permission to travel to England.
Please note that visa or travel-support documents can only be issued once registration and booking have been completed. We are unable to provide documentation in advance of confirmed registration.
Participants who are presenting or exhibiting must first receive written confirmation that their submission has been reviewed and accepted. Once acceptance is confirmed, presenters and exhibitors may proceed with registration and submit a request for visa-related documentation.
Participants who are not presenting or exhibiting should be prepared to demonstrate a clear professional or academic connection to the arts, as well as a legitimate reason for attending KArtsCon. Requests for documentation are assessed in line with the purpose and scope of the conference.
All visa and travel-support requests should be directed to projects@warnborough.edu.
Please include the following information with your request:
- Proof of your registered ticket for KArtsCon
- A scanned copy of your passport, clearly showing the passport number and expiry date
- Your confirmed dates of arrival and departure
- The address and contact details of the location where you will submit your visa application (to ensure documentation is prepared correctly)
- Details of your intended accommodation during your stay
Please note that all individuals requesting visa support will be asked to complete a brief online interview via Zoom prior to the issuance of any supporting letters.
The British Home Office requires all of the above information. Incomplete requests may delay or prevent the processing of visa support documentation.
If you experience any difficulties with registration, you may contact Mrs. Hopson or the KArtsCon team for assistance.
Terms and Conditions for Visa Support
- Submissions must be reviewed and formally accepted in writing before visa support can be issued.
- Participants who are not presenting must demonstrate a clear and legitimate reason for attending KArtsCon.
- Completion of the Zoom interview is a prerequisite for receiving visa support documentation.
- Visa support letters will be issued once ticket purchase and registration are fully confirmed.
Please note that, due to the significant administrative resources involved in providing visa support, conference ticket fees are non-refundable. In the event that a visa cannot be obtained (due to timing, refusal, or a change in circumstances), the ticket fee will be treated as a donation to the Warnborough Foundation, supporting its ongoing charitable work.
